To gauge the interest of the OAMP membership, a survey was distributed to all members. Two key questions were asked:
- How important is it to you that the OAMP undertake efforts to ensure the recognition of medical physicists as a regulated health care professional?
- Please rank the following topics (other than regulation) where you believe the OAMP should concentrate its efforts:
- Education sessions (virtual or in-person meetings with sponsored talks, panel discussions, etc.)
- Networking (virtual or in-person meetings for professional development and networking)
- Forum (online chat groups, e-mail list servers, etc.)
- Physics resident research symposia
